The delegation visited Kalalpitiya Purana Viharaya, one of Most Ven. Anuruddha Mahathero’s temples in Kandy, and participated in the Sanghadana ritual.
In the afternoon, the 7th Spiritual Dialogue between Theravadayana, Tantrayana and Mahayana Buddhism was held in a grand convention centre at the newly constructed Grand Mountain Hotel.
The theme of this year’s spiritual dialogue is “Striding Forward for Global Buddhism’s Great Unity, Great Concord, Great Harmony and Great Development”.
With over 50 representatives in attendance, the spiritual dialogue unfolded with earnest exchanges by representatives of the different schools.
